About this development

Blue Nest is a completed five-home coastal residence at Pointe d’Esny on Mauritius’s south-east coast, comprising four apartments and one studio. Property Lab’s project page records a 2018 start and 2021 delivery. The small leasehold scheme is known for its traditional thatched roof, hardwood decking and cladding, and its setting beside the Pointe d’Esny lagoon and sandy shoreline. Property Lab describes unit sizes as 200 m² and above. StayEasy’s current Premium Apartment listing gives a different, accommodation-category measurement: 216 m² for a ground-floor apartment and 184 m² for a first-floor apartment. The operator also lists a three-bedroom penthouse at 361 m². These operator figures are not a verified legal sale-area schedule; floor-area basis and exact unit specifications should be confirmed from current title documents and as-built plans. The current operator describes the residence as approximately 30 metres from the beach, with direct beach access, and says there is no communal pool or lift. The project’s design combines open-plan living with furnished terraces looking towards the lagoon. Property Lab says the completed concept included beach kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, a pétanque area and beach kiosks. Their present condition, availability and residents’ access have not been independently confirmed. The operator’s gallery shows examples from its Premium Apartment and penthouse accommodation categories; furnishings, finishes and layouts in those photographs should not be assumed to apply to every home. Property Lab’s project page describes its role as development consulting and recounts guiding the landowner on development and building solutions. Collection therefore describes that documented role without asserting ownership of the land. The project page lists the scheme as leasehold and reports MUR 170 million as overall project value, not an apartment asking price. Current resale inventory, apartment prices, individual lease terms, service charges and rental performance are not verified. For buyers researching Blue Nest apartments, a Pointe d’Esny beachfront residence, or a three-bedroom apartment near Blue Bay Marine Park, request the current resale schedule, unit-specific floorplan and area basis, lease/title documents, management terms, maintenance obligations and service-charge budget before proceeding.
