About Property Lab

Property Lab is a Mauritius-based property development, development-management and consulting firm established in 2016. Its portfolio covers boutique residential schemes, beachfront and waterfront residences, land subdivisions and specialist commercial projects. The company’s published approach is deliberately selective: it takes on a limited number of projects so that its team can remain involved from the early concept and design stages through finance, legal work, procurement, construction, sales and handover. Partnership is central to the firm’s model. Depending on the mandate, Property Lab may act as developer, co-developer, development manager or consultant. In landowner joint ventures it can help structure the project and provide pre-project finance, while consulting appointments may be limited to strategy, feasibility, design development or delivery oversight. Those roles are recorded separately on Collection wherever the available project evidence allows them to be distinguished. The current official portfolio spans both coasts of Mauritius. Completed work includes The Waterclub at La Balise Marina, Manta Cove at La Preneuse and Blue Nest at Pointe d’Esny. Its published pipeline and recent portfolio also include Maisons de Bonneval, Villa Mauricia, District 1 and the Fleur de Canne agricultural subdivision. Each project page on Collection identifies the role, programme and evidence available for that specific development; historic project values are not presented as current asking prices. Property Lab is led by founder and CEO Sebastien Bax de Keating. Its public office is at La Petite Palmeraie on the Coastal Road in Tamarin.
